Not sure if you to your own vaccinations, but if your vet does them....Make sure that he isn't put on a table to vaccinate him. You want him to have no negative experiences on a table.
Thanks for the tips on lead training. I don't want to miss any windows of opportunity in bringing him along.

I do my own vacs so he shouldn't be at my vet's until after his last one when he gets his first blood test.
