I wish there was another way to change our names too. I don't think I could have imagined sticking around for years either. Mine came from another site where we had so many Debras we decided to identify by state so people would stop confusing us.
I would like something more "yorkie-ish."
One option we do have is the User Title under our member name. Once you have 500 posts, you can ask Admin to change it to whatever you'd like (within reason). Maybe that would be something for the OP to look forward to?
