I've never done anything special. I will try to rinse him off with regular water from the hose afterwards just to get the chorline off him... but sometimes I don't even do that, and we've never had any issues. Without the lifejacket, sometimes when Jackson dives in, his head will go under for a second... so that's why I try to always have the jacket on him so it avoids him going under. But I dogsit 2 Golden Retrievers who swim all the way down to the bottom of the pool and they've never had ear problems.. so I'm not sure!

Lol, Jackson does not like the bath or the blowdry. He loves basically EVERY type of water (puddles, ocean, lakes, pools, etc) but a bath... he runs when he sees me getting ready (taking the shampoo out, towels, toothbrush, etc). But he tolerates it really well and he will take treats from me during the bath. Blowdryer, however... I don't even try it, he hates it so bad.
