My hubby is like that too. In fact our 4 lb lh chi is his dog. He picked her out. He went to look at the boy chi by himself and when I cld him to ask if he was at the place to look at him, he sd I am there now, but I am getting the girl. He calls her daddy's girl (our 24 yr old dtr loves that!) and is always cuddling her. He does get some strange looks since he is over 250 with a white beard and a burr cut. When they go out, we don't have to worry about anyone bothering our babies unless they want to pet them to death.
