The blood can mean a number of things, so I'll let more knowledgeable people comment on that.
I would be very concerned about giving an 8 week old a teaspoon of olive oil. That isn't something I would give to my adult doggies. I would research that one before even considering it.
Stick to plain pumpkin, not the pie filling with spices.
