I can only comment on the taste of the wild because I was in petssmart over the weekend and ask the manager the same thing. She said the taste of the wild is a great food but they do not recommend it unless your dogs gets a lot more exercise to burn off the calories. She said the Blue, small breed was the best for little dogs that do not get a lot of exercise. That is my group. They are not big outside pups.they said that in petsmart the dog food is set up in isle by isle with the premium food in the first isle. She did show me a chart from Blue, that showed the same thing that she told me.Good Luck. Oh b the way my guys seems to like it real good. But of course I add to each of there food bowls,a tablespoon of boiled chicken,and bit of chicken broth, and a few small (about 4 pieces) of sweet potatoes. on top. They love that. The dry food does have veggies and sweet potatoes already in it. Good luck
