I have both akc and aca..IMO...I really find no difference..I don't show my dogs so the akc mean little to me as far as registrations go.
I look for health, and flaws when choosing a pup or dog.
Akc does not mean you are getting a better dog ..the only way to insure that is to be careful when choosing a breeder.
I did registration on my new pup on the aca website and had my paper back in 3 days. They seem to have a very helpful website. I know other will disagree on this. Some are stuck on the word AKC as meaning better,
But, I don't find it to be the case with my dogs.
My aca dogs seem to be a little better breed the the akc dog I have.
