Omg Mommy Mommy My Pony Tail's Too Tight

First off, your babies are most adorable!
Thank you kindly for your response as well as posting the link as to where one may obtain the Vellus. Great tips!
As for the rolling and rubbing.
It is possible her hair is too tight as I had done that in the beginning. Oh she let me know immediately once her paws hit the floor that her hair was too tight.
I have been careful to keep it loose for her but perhaps it is still too tight.
In the beginning, if it were uncomfortable for her she would just rub on the floor.
She can have a pony in for sometime before we are out for a walk and run into a patch of luscious grass that she seems she just has to roll in.
Roxy always has something to tie her hair back with now a days, otherwise she can't see.
I feel it is just a dog thing. They like to roll in the grass. Especially if it is freshly mowed! For whatever reason. I see other dogs doing it too.
I try to be most careful that there is no pulling that I can see and do check again before she is off the table.
I will be more careful and take a closer note. I sure appreciate your input and thanks again for the tips. Roxy's hair is so delicate and fine.
Gladly I have not seen any split ends as I do check.
Love your photos.
Cheers!

It is really important to not put it in so tight that it pulls on their scalp or corners of their eyes. I always keep at least a thumbs thickness between the band and their little heads.

For the breakage, you can try using Vellus Satin Creme. One of my girls has really fine hair, and it doesn't grow fast on her head, and it breaks easily. I have been using Vellus and it is helping it stay thicker and not break as easily.
