Lexi is home and doing good I can tell she is a little sore but that is understandable...It breaks my hubby and my heart to see her little brown eyes look at us to do something as she just doesn't understand. I called the vet and he wanted me to give her a pain med tonight and not wait until tomorrow. Hugs to you Cheryl & Lexi I think the pain med is helping as she is laying down and she couldn't before

Lexi's kisses went straight to my heart. I am so happy that the surgery went well and am relieved that it is over. It hurts so much to see someone you love so dearly in pain, and I know how difficult this is for you. I also know how confusing it is for our babies when they are hurting and don't understand why. I've found that the pain medication can be confusing for them also, and I am so glad that it is easing some of her pain. Once she no longer needs to take it, she will be in less pain, but you will see her acting more like herself without the medication. Lexi is so loved, and she has her mom and dad's loving arms to protect and comfort her. I hope that Lexi heals quickly and that you are able to rest easier now. Lexi is so blessed to have you and your husband. I know how grateful you are having such a precious and special little girl in your life. You and Lexi will be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers.
