I honestly can't thank everyone enough for all your thoughts and prayers for our little Lexi. We are blessed to have Lexi in our life and she is loved so very much. We were a mess this morning to say the least and I didn't think I would make it. Longest morning of our life... The vet called at 11:00 am to tell us Lexi was doing fine and coming around. He said we could pick her up at 4:00pm and we were there a few minutes early (well quite a few minutes early) I was so happy to see that little face and those beautiful brown eyes. She was wide a wake and her tail was just a waggin..I know she was happy we were there to bring her home. All went well with the surgery got all our instructions and asked a million questions poor vet. Her teeth cleaning went well but he did have to pull one tooth poor baby she is so young wish she didn't have to lose a tooth but he said it was loose..she had a lot of plaque so we will have to work on that to keep them clean. Had to call the vet tonight as Lexi was very uncomfortable and running away from her own self and crying I could tell her incision was hurting as she couldn't even lie down. He had me start her pain meds. and now she is sleeping nicely...poor baby. Anyways sorry for going on and on...Thanks so much again to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers I know they helped Lexi and I today get through this and I honestly and touched and couldn't be more thankful to all of you.
Hugs Cheryl & Lexi
