I laughed when I read your post! I've done the same, many times....then sometimes make it even worse trying to make it better. I've only had my Yorkie a little less than a year (but have been grooming my schnauzer for about 6 years), but the first time I cut her, I gave her "shorts"...hard to describe, sort of cut the darker fur short over her back legs, but left the lighter fur longer, making it look like she was wearing shorts.
Repeat this mantra....it will grow back, it will grow back, it will grow back. Followed by,... at least I didn't pay someone else to mess it up!!!
