I have no clue. I believe someone mentioned that they can even change after they are an adult - after they are a year old.

How about that - every month we can have a different dog.

Tonight I wrote a letter to the breeder (whom I have never met) and ask her about the puppy's parent's colors. I also ask her to send me some pictures of the pup's parents, if she has any extras.

I explained my pup's changing hair color - so maybe she can give me some further information. I did tell her that I'm not complaining and am perfectly happy with whatever color he decides to be.

Let's wait and see what I learn.
