The only suggestion I can think of is to have some kind of "white noise" so that Charlie doesn't hear the neighbor's dog or any other noise that triggers the barking. I sleep with a fan running on low to mask noise from outside. My bedroom isn't very "plush" and I have a vaulted ceiling, so there isn't a lot to deaden sound.
You could also work to really tire out Charlie before bed. Play fetch or whatever she likes.
