There are certain types of people on the internet, or on forums, or just slinking around random sites - and one of their goals is to intentionally send hateful messages to others. They are sitting at home, thinking of vile things to say - with the goal of actually hurting a fellow human being. When one considers just what kind of person it takes to do something like that and just how unhappy that person must be to want to do that, it pretty much makes their vitriol just wash away (bc the hate is really aimed right at themselves).
In my time at YT, I've been the target of hate-mail....and I won't even read it. It just doesn't have meaning, and it really does work when you consider the source.
Please tell your friend that for any mean person out there, there are likely 10,000 more who support her  . |
Ann, you are absolutley right about those kinds of people.
Sadly, it did hurt Sandra, terribly. But thankfully, the sick, twisted person that posted it, has not come back and re-lit the candle.
I am so very sorry you have been the target of hate-mail.
You have always been so extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. Someone is very jealous of you.
