Lucy is whining to get into my bed at 9:00 pm sharp. Even if we are in the basement watching TV, she goes up to my room and whines until someone puts her in my bed. She doesn't care if I'm in there or not; it's 9:00 PM and time for her bed! Just before that, she gets a toy and a chewie in her mouth and prances around with it all around the house; making sure we all see her. Over and over again, until she wants up in bed with it.
She's fast asleep even though the rest of us are still downstairs. My son says that 'her small dog metabolism is shutting down; she can't stay up past 9 pm. It's so sweet  |
Very funny, and sweet.
Max and Teddy take naps starting at 8 and until I'm ready to go to the bedroom. One of them usually starts begging for bed between 11-12. We used to play before bed, but now they just want belly rubs, kisses, and proclamations of love before stealing my blanket and pillows.
