I know! I totally expected her to be a big fight over it. She's very sensitive to noises. She's not cowardly, just very sensitive to sudden noises. Loud, quiet, big, small it doesn't matter. I really think it was the noise that the clipper made when it cut that actually freaked her out not the feeling of having them cut. I have worked with horses my entire life, and sometimes a constant noise, or feel such as the vibrating feel of cordless clippers actually has a calming effect on many of them over quick or sudden movement, so maye that is the difference with the dremmel over the manual clipper on dogs too since it was a constant feel once I got started. I hate long nails, and it seems so trivial but I am so happy to have had these results.
