Does your yorkie have a regular bedtime routine or things he/she regular does before going to sleep?
Lucy is whining to get into my bed at 9:00 pm sharp. Even if we are in the basement watching TV, she goes up to my room and whines until someone puts her in my bed. She doesn't care if I'm in there or not; it's 9:00 PM and time for her bed!
Just before that, she gets a toy and a chewie in her mouth and prances around with it all around the house; making sure we all see her. Over and over again, until she wants up in bed with it.
She's fast asleep even though the rest of us are still downstairs. My son says that 'her small dog metabolism is shutting down; she can't stay up past 9 pm. It's so sweet
