Do you know if Mia was "cage dried"?
A number of years ago, my girls had been going to a Boutique where they told me they hand blow dried them. Apparently, not always.
One afternoon, we picked them up, and when it was time for Sydney to go in her crate, she began shaking. This went on for a week, when I happened to mention it to a Breeder I know, and she told me that the shaking was from being over-heated because she had been cage dried. And, the experience had frightened her.
She feared her crate, her former safe-haven, for months.
Needless to say, we stopped using that groomer. Later, we heard other people had problems with her.
