From his original cost to teeth pulling, neutering, buying high quality foods, toys to grooming and sometimes puppy camp/boarding. And now as we speak, my DH is putting the finishing touches on a stairway from our back patio (which is 8 feet up) to the ground to make it easier for Rocky to get outside. I could have never guessed how much this little guy would have cost us, but it's been fun having him around.

By the way, my mom has asked that I not be so "dramatic" when talking about Rocky's incurred costs, since we are not really "broke"

Too funny....well...I have had my baby for 4 years now and I really am broke. Happen to be one of the millions of americans that lost my job in 2008, and still can't find a job. I say this because, though I am broke, my baby has pet insurance,,(I have none)..My baby got a brand new warm coat to travel to michigan for xmas,,(I borrowed one from one of my sisters), He goes to the vet for regular check ups and to keep current on shots,,(I have not been for a check up in 3 years),, He eats the best breed specific food,,(I can usually get by with a sandwich and salad - a nice frugal meal) In other words, my baby comes first always, and what ever he needs, without having any income what so ever...I find a way to make sure he has the best care I can give....and I would not have it any other way.
