I am sorry you felt that you had to result to physical abuse to teach your dog how to behave w/ other animals within your home.
I honestly feel there is a better way to train an animal.

I have to agree with this! I am so sorry you had to resort to that, there are so many alternatives. I too am very upset to read that!
