They are twice as active as my Jack Russell and almost as much grooming required as the Yorkies. But they love them so much they don't care. They are very smart dogs too!
Yes they are. I volunteered with the Papillon Rescue for awhile and helped to do home inspections and fostering. It was such a joy to help someone find that right match. I also was a Papillon breeder. My little girl was from the last litter I had and my husband fell in love with her so I gave her to him. He has her spoiled.
She has basically grown up with my 2 Yorkies so they get along well. My Boston Terrier is very very relaxed.

I retired one of my females to a wonderful home. My other 2 Papillons that I had I found a breeder who really liked the breed but lived in the country. My male, KC, LOVED the sound of his own voice. It became a daily battle with my neighbor. He was not allowed to be himself and that made me sad. I found him a new mommy and home where he could be himself without getting in trouble. I cried when I took him to her but he is doing great and that is the most important part to me.
