That is a BIG change in a short period of time. Did you see her parents? Were they very light too? It does seem to be a genetic feature to pass on the fading of color, and breeders should work hard at reducing that affect in their lines. She is a sweet looking pup though. Just love her all the more.
My first yorkie was not to standard either. I just spayed her & loved her with all my heart! She may not have been perfect, but she started me on a life that will NEVER be without a yorkie!
