Just as with children, why make them play basketball if they don't have the drive or the want to play?
I know a mentor of mine had a nice yorkie that did have points on him and there was an incident where she fell in the ring because she slipped on the concrete on a piece of chicken and it scared the dog so bad that he didn't like the ring anymore and she never finished him because why put him through the anguish? To me they have to have it all and that includes personality

Sorry Donna I just couldn't help myself
There is a certain presence that you see and feel when you watch a dog in the ring. It's electrifying to watch and even more so in person. It would be like taking Ellie May Clampet to a beauty pageant. She was a hot little dish but out of her element in Beverly Hills
