For me bettering the breed encompasses the whole dog. To leave this breed better in if not "all ways" but in at least one way, with not losing out on all other traits or characteristics of the breed.
IN a perfect world all breeders would care about the breed they produce...but I am sorry to say there are far more puppymilllers and poor breeders in the US then the good breeder. It is like an iceberg, as big as the top may be...what lies below is the real iceberg.
