Thank you Fran - what you said is similar to many articles I read on the Internet.

I didn't just read it on the Internet -- The articles I read were well documented and were from reliable sources. And, I read many different articles --not just one.

My Yorkie did eat and chew many of the leaves off my poinsettia - he didn't get sick. I still wanted to learn more about it.

I think the end result is that our pets should be kept away from poinsettias. They won't be poisoned and die. We needn't fear that - but they can get still get sick, and we don't want that either.
