I have both Biewers and Partis and if you are wondering which would be better for your family.. I don't believe, based on my experience, you will notice a difference. If you are looking specifically to breed or want specifically an AKC registered dog or one you can show.. then you would tend to lean one way or the other, but strictly for a family pet.. both are magnificant and I would recommend find a good breeder FIRST, one that you trust, is open with you and you have a connection with, then find your furry friend.. you won't be sorry with either "brand"..
