I just had Sophie at the vet last week and she told me that now that she is 8 months old I should watch for her to go into heat. Now here is the hard part. They say you should not have them spayed until they are at least 1 year old. I have a male who is unaltered because he is only 5 months old and they will not do it till he is 6 months old. Hence my problem. I pray she does not go into heat until I can have him neutered.
