nothing is impossible when genetics are involved of course not BUT a true pure silk coat should "not" be wavey or curly. Poodles evidently have curls in their genetic make up and the portguese water dog and other curley coated breeds ect...but if breeding correctly a pure silk coat should not have curls and if it does it's not pure, there has to be modified in the coat even if the slightest bit.
This is off topic and I know nothing about the Parti color so I can't answer the OP's orginal question so I'll turn it back over to those that can answer it.
