Hello, new to this forum! I have a 5 lb yorkie that seems to have found a cigarette butt on our balcony. (we don't smoke, but our upstairs neighbors seem to). He chewed it apart and I did find some nicotine stuff strewn about the rug. Looks like he just chewed on it a bit and tore it apart. from what i am reading, his size could handle up to 2.5mg of nicottine before being toxic. do you think he could have ingested that much from tearing it apart? I found the thing 1/2 hour ago, and Piper (my yorkie) is currently sleeping on my lap. You think he's ok?
