I'm so sorry about your little one and that your family had to go through this. I know you guys did the best you could to pull her through her illness and you are to be commended for all the effort you made. I'm sure her last 36hours were filled with more love and care than the rest of her life was.

My mom and I visited this "breeder" about 12 years ago when looking for a puppy. We didn't know much about "puppy mills" at the time but we could tell this was a horrible place. Like someone else said, Yorkies were in wooden hutches with wire bottoms and blue barrels for housing. She also had a commercial kennel that she raised puppies in but we didn't go inside of it. From what I saw she had probably 50 dogs at that time but I think they were all Yorkies so she could have had more hidden somewhere that we didn't see.

The new Prop B that passed in November will help make this "breeder" clean up her act or go out of business. While I don't really like this bill (for good breeders) I can see the benefit for this type of person. Since she is "well-known" by the inspecting agencies (your contacting them will help) she won't be able to fly under the radar and will have to clean up her act.

Please put your "breeder review" then that section of Yorkie Talk so more people will see it and will know to stay away from her. I hope your family has peach of mind knowing that you guys did the best you could in the circumstances, this is something you should never of had to go through. I will hope that you guys get some of your money back and can adopt another loving healthy puppy to love. Good luck,

Teresa
