Just like here on lawyers.com, if somebody says something bad about me the website is not responsible for it nor is it obligated to remove.
It's just my tough luck because that's the risk I take by participating here.
If you are truly suffering loss of revenue you are welcome to sue the website and or the poster but you'll need a defamation lawyer and $5000 to $10,000 just to get him started |
Unless you find one that will take it on a continugy (I can't spell that word) LOL like the one in Northern Kentucky that recently won a five million suit against a website for allowing things to be posted that damaged a person's reputation. And against several other people. it was all in the news recently. So no it's not just tough luck. It was in the chicago news but they did a story locally also, I think.
