The vet didn't give it a name...he just said the best way to describe it, in August 2005, was the stool had excessive bad bacteria-"rods". He said all stool has some rods but not that many under a microscope b/c they are inflammatory cells. Said both my dogs had it. I wonder if he even has a clue to what caused their episodes of diarreah back in August. Thank you. I will watch him close tonight and tomorrow.
