I wasn't putting the rolling eyes to you direct Nancy, I posted yours to say yes you can breed it out, I don't have any yorkies with curly hair, but I do have a biewer that has some curl, and have bred her to a hard silk male and all the pups are hard silk. I have been around long enough to see threads turn out not to nice when parti's or biewers are mention. The question was about color anyway, not textured of coat, but thats jmo.
