The curly hair is dominant so that means only one dominate gene has to be in present before it shows up on a pup. A fault is a fault to me, I don't think you should ever breed for them, but I'm assuming she isn't breeding for curly hair. If this were a standard color yorkie, I can assure you those breeders would attempt to educate her on curly coats, and one more thing Peanut, I have never used the "rolling eyes" smilie to you. I think if someone sold her that dog as a breeding dog, perhaps, she was taken advantage of.
