Louis was laying on the heater vent keeping warm like he always does, when something scared him and he jumped up real fast. As soon as he jumped up he yelped. I didn't notice anything wrong with him at first. A little while later he started limping on his front left leg. I looked at his paw and noticed that his toe nail was just hanging there. (He must have caught the nail in the vent when he jumped up.) Now the toe nail is completely gone. It broke all the way off. He doesn't act like he is in any pain. Is there something I should do? Will it grow back? Poor guy, I know that had to hurt.
Luckily it's not bleeding or anything.
