Some Yorkies are just really picky- if he is eating canned food I wouldn't be too concerned.
I also brought home one of mine too young and I let her eat basically only canned food- I left kibble out if she wanted a snack but her meals were canned only. As she got older she started eating more kibble and now eats basically all kibble.
