Maybe I missed it, but what kind of dry food? 5 pieces could be a lot for one that is only 8 weeks old. Their stomachs aren't very big. I was reminded recently that for Acana Pacifica food (size) 10 kibbles for an adult Yorkie is more than enough (for a meal), anything beyond that is just adding fat and calories. Which makes sense when you think about.
I also think somedays they eat more, sometimes less.
