 Hello! I'm a new member!
Hello to all members! I just joined YT today and am very happy to be here. I recently became the happy caretaker/owner (I don't know why I don't like the word "owner") of a 15 month old male Biewer. No matter what anyone else thinks - my doggie "Tyke" IS a Yorkshire Terrier. Yes... yes... yes... it is a recognized breed all of it's own - blah blah blah. However, since I am not a breeder and do not plan on becoming one - he is for me PURELY a companion. Tyke's breed is ORIGINALLY that of Yorkshire Terrier with new and different colors. Since they have been selectively breeding for COLOR - to me this means that he is above all... a Yorkie - and that is why I am here surrounded by others that love their yorkies as I do!
