Agreed. I'm leary for all those that home cook without seeking professional guidance. Each pup is different and will have different needs. Like some are allergic to foods. (yes, just like us humans) Really seek out the guidance of a professional if you want to home cook for your puppy. Talk about how to balance her meals, what portion size is right for her.

Also, you can tell a lot about what's going on with them by their poop. Gross I know, but firm poops are a good indicator of a healthy pup along with everything else that was mentioned.
