A year ago, I had a little rescue come in that had tape worms. She was about 9 months old and 6 pounds. The vet gave her 1 tab and then gave her another for a week later just to make sure to kill all worms in the various phases. You may want to ask the vet if your baby will need a 2nd dose. I treated all my yorkies even though I did not see the other with parasites and the vet gave me the meds for that and the 2nd dose for all. This is just a suggestion to ask your vet about the other animals in the house and the 2nd dose.
