 8 week old w/ Giardia & Tapeworms
My brand spankin new puppy, Posey has been acting completely fine, but I spotted some wiggly creatures in her poo (so gross)... I had my boyfriend take her to the vet for a fecal test and it turns out she has Giardia as well as Tapeworms. Now, I've checked her for fleas, so she must have ingested one at some point to give her the worms. Not quite sure where the giardia came from... maybe from my 6 year old yorkiepoo??? Either way - how contagious are these issues and how easy are they to get rid of? I just worry about medications for Posey since she is so young. |
