question You never know how many pups you will get...I have had 1 to 7..with the average being 3 to 4.
The angle of the xray is important in counting numbers. She whelped fine last time and should do well again..but you are prepared and have a good vet if there is a problem. You might do another xray on the 26th..Monday. Perhaps, the second pup is in a better position for viewing.
Also, they can retain alot of water and seen bigger..and after a litter, the muscles can be more lax and the belly hangs and looks bigger..lots of reasons.
I have seen huge bellys produce 3 pups and small bellys produce 5..good luck
