Your point is well founded. Indiana's AG is going after mills for unpaid taxes, just like with Capone. Recently a large mill was closed in Bloomington and I think about 300 dogs were taken out. Our shelter, which was recently made a no kill, took many of them as they were dispersed among several counties to relieve the strain. I hope these new efforts will eventually help but it will be hard during the transition and I fear for the dogs, especially the breeders.
