I'm a little confused with the time line regarding when you found the little guy. You mentioned a month or two ago, then said he wasn't so bad about urinating in the house in the spring and that you thought it was because of the snow.
Either way, I would get him back to the vet. There has obviously been a change in his habits and the first place to start is with a physical exam. He could have a urinary tract infection, renal problems, or even cushings. And yes, it could be the snow, but you need to make sure there is nothing wrong with him.
