I know this may be hard to do but it really is the best... When we think of bring a puppy home we think 6-8 weeks and for larger breeds that may be ok... But smaller breeds such as the Yorkshire Terrier it's really not a good idea. and here's why.. they need to stay with their mother as long as the can, till 12 weeks if possible. The mothers still care for them and "teach them the ropes" and doing lots of training... more then you think at least
Another thing is their size.. they are so small, fragile and needs to watched ALOT..
Izzy came home at 13 weeks and I had to make sure she ate, drank etc... Yorkie Talk is a great place to learn about what these sweet little babies need.
