As we spoke, I am glad that your little guy does not need surgery. I agree, I would probably get a second opinion. I know that pancreatitis can be managed through diet so that would alleviate one medication. I would think that stones can also be managed thru diet. I have a friend who has a silky and he had over 100 stones (!!!) removed. He was put a strict diet. Fortunately for her he likes this food. It is a dry food so he gets this as treats as well.

I do not know about the arthritis as sometimes anti-inflammatory may be the only way to go. As a sufferer myself, I know how much better I feel when I take my meds for it. But if getting the other 2 things under control will get him off meds, maybe it wouldn't be so stressful on him to take something for the arthritis?

Good luck with finding something that will work for your little guy.
