Welcome to YT! I know a great dog named Mojo - love the name! Is it possible for the breeder to keep your dog until he is around 12 weeks old? From my experience and many others on this site, it is much easier on you if you do. The mom and litter mates help to train the puppy which makes it so much less work for you. He won't nip and bite as often, as he is shown by his mom that it isn't permitted. Six to eight weeks is very young for a small breed to leave its mom and you will get a dog that is way more self-assured if he is a bit older. There are also health issues that may result when they are so little. I know the excitement level is high when you are waiting but a few weeks won't make a difference in the long run and you end up with a much happier puppy. When you do get your little one, please send pictures and let us know what you name him!
