Wow. I would seriously consider getting a second opinion. Maybe even a third.
There are ways you can help your pup with his arthritic problems beside "medication". Diet is useful.
Perhaps see a homeopathic vet or at least a different one for a second opinion.

Just curious, if the ultra soound shows no stones then why is he taking medicine? Sounds like he doesn't have a bladder stone problem after all.

As for the said limping. My girl is three she will be four on March 3 2011. I have noticed stiffness when she gets up from a nap or a sleep as well. She doesn't have arthritis. Just stiff. We can get stiff too and not have arthritis. Think you dog well Ma'am and he will be, instead of ailments.
Ten years is not That old!

The vet told me once that my dog has that hip dyspepsia thing. When he seen her when she was two. He claimed that when we are walking she may just stop because her joint might lock up. Never happens.
She is fine. Spry and spunky. Totally mobile.

As for pancreatits. I am a firm believer that we can switch ailments from bad to good, simply with diet.
Look closely at what you feed your dog. Research all ingredients. Choose wisely and holistically.

Best to you and your loving pup!
