I feel bad that your son said anything to you. What he doesn't understand, IMO, is how easy it is to be "obsessed" about something that can make you laugh as often as a yorkie and bring so much joy to your life. A day doesn't go by that my dogs (my IGs are rather comical too) don't make me laugh. People get obsessed about many things they enjoy and I don't understand. Like golf, a football team, motorcycles, or any number of other things, and those aren't even warm, living things.
Add to that the fact that there is a WONDERFUL
social network of other yorkie lovers you've met here on YT who share your obession. Just don't tell your son you're leaving everything to the dog, not him.
