I found these Omega-3 chewables. The big difference in ingredients between the gel caps and the chewables is the lack of actual fish oil in the chewables, but they do have the two Omega-3s. I am not familiar enough with this subject to determine if this would be enough to help her.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? | Actually, the chewables do contain fish oil as well. They just also contain other components like complex carbs from rice, safflower oil, sorbic acid , and the big ingredient which probably makes your pups love them...."Natural and artificial cheese flavor"! So.... they are getting both EPA and DHA from fish oil which is the best; and if they are eating them, I would definitely continue. As the Omega 3's are something that has to build up within the body in order to prevent dry and itchy skin. It is not something that will show immediate benefits from one or two uses. It must be used consistently and over time. |
